Hypnosis Certification Class Being Offered in Fairhope

Certified hypnosis trainer and marriage and family therapist Kathleen Peters will teach a hypnosis course March 30 to April 4, 2020 at the Holiday Inn Express in Fairhope. This 40-hour course teaches students how to assist others and themselves in creating a better life. Topics include pain relief, weight loss, smoking cessation, self- hypnosis and age regression.
Hypnotism is the art of working with the subconscious mind and Peters believes it is one of the most effective ways to find and resolve inner conflicts, depression and illness. Doctors, dentists, nurses and massage therapists use hypnotherapy as a therapeutic tool to enhance their profession, and many people work as full-time hypnotherapists.
“If you want to help yourself or others then learning hypnotism is for you,” says Peters, who turned to hypnotherapy in her marriage and family therapy practice when talk therapy failed to get to the root cause of her patients’ issues. “I use hypnotherapy to uncover subconscious motivations and I am passionate about using this modality because of the miracles I have been fortunate to witness—smokers quitting permanently in one hour, phobias dissolved, even a hysterical blind man’s sight returned! It has had a profound impact on my life, as well as the hundreds of clients I have helped.”
