Wild Magnolia Kombucha: Locally-Brewed For a Gateway to Gut Health

Since 2016, Wild Magnolia Kombucha, founded by Fairhope native Amanda
Webb, has been providing uniquely handcrafted kombucha to Gulf Coast
communities. Kombucha (pronounced as kom-boo-cha) is a fermented
drink composed of organic teas, organic cane sugar and a symbiotic colony
of bacteria and yeast (SCOBY). During the fermentation process, the SCOBY
consumes the sugar to produce a tart, effervescent beverage rich in B-vitamins,
enzymes, probiotics and acids—all aiding a healthier digestion and
detoxification of free radicals in the body.
“We work on making Wild Magnolia Kombucha palatable and appealing for
consumers compared to some supermarket brands,” says Webb. “That way they get
to experience the wonderful probiotic gut benefits that come with drinking
kombucha.”
Wild Magnolia’s handcrafted brews maintain a unique taste and are
flavored with nourishing foods for the body and soul. Four main
brews—Cucumber, Matcha, Lemon Ginger and immune-boosting Elderberry—plus a
rotating seasonal flavor are available in 16- and 32-ounce glass bottles and
kegs.
