December is anniversary month for Elements Massage Mobile, which has been open since December 8, 2008. “We were both excited and terrified. The recession of 2008 was affecting business in general and many were struggling or closing,” says Claudia McClure, owner. “We focused on providing a relaxing therapeutic experience for our clients. Our massage therapists listened and provided much needed relief for our clients. We also started selling our first gift cards which brought many new clients to our studio.”

A year later, Elements Massage Mobile was a thriving business and celebrated with an open house for clients and the community. “We had so much fun offering refreshments, chair massages and giveaways, including a year of massages, that our open house became a yearly event,” says McClure. “Last year, we had to change plans for the safety of our staff and clients, but we still celebrate with our yearly drawing for a chance to win 12 massages plus other prizes.”

The annual gift card sale also offers the opportunity to buy gift cards at the lowest prices of the year for family and friends. It is hoped that the open house will continue in years to come.
