Mobile Bay Makers Market Showcases Local Vendors
A space for local artists, farmers, bakers and
makers is something the Fairhope community desperately needed. This little
community has long been filled with creative entrepreneurs just waiting for a
chance to share their work with the public. Now, Mobile Bay Makers Market is
the opportunity for local small business owners and entrepreneurs to share
their artistic gifts with the community.
This isn’t
a traditional pop-up shopping market. Each vendor is selected because they
create products from start to finish. There’s no buying and flipping or
mass-produced wholesale items. Each booth is filled with one-of-a-kind products
that are custom made by the artist behind the table. Half of the market is
dedicated to makers, growers and farmers that are offering delicious treats,
snacks, drinks and farm-fresh produce. The other half includes artwork,
hand-dyed clothing, all-natural skin care, pet products and more.
This
year-round event also has live music and a variety of food trucks to enjoy
while shopping. The Mobile Bay Makers Market is nestled down by the pier in
Fairhope, every second and fourth Sunday of the month.
