Full Body Imaging to Pinpoint Pain

Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging (DITI or thermography) is the only method for ‘visualizing’ pain and is a complementary procedure to other diagnostic tools. DITI is a non-invasive clinical imaging procedure for detecting and monitoring disease and physical injury anywhere in the body by showing existing thermal abnormalities. DITI can provide instant images and answers in the diagnosis and prognosis of pain. It can also monitor therapy progress for conditions and injuries such as back pain, arthritis, headaches, nerve damage, fibromyalgia, vascular disease, breast disease and many more conditions.

“It’s simple, thermography works,” says certified thermographer Carolyn Olson with Thermography Advantage in Mobile. “Research has proven that thermography can detect minute temperature variations related to blood flow and demonstrate abnormal patterns associated with the progression of tumors and other diseases. Digital infrared thermal imaging—thermography—monitors for physiological changes and allows us to detect early on the development of myriad conditions, as well as identify the source of existing conditions.”

Clinical DITI is cost effective and risk free. Images or ‘Thermograms’ can be taken of the whole body or just areas being investigated. The digitized images are recorded and sent electronically to a Thermologist for interpretation and reporting. The report is color printed and may be shared with healthcare professionals.

“I actually began to wonder if my pain was real. With all the tests I had done, surely one would have shown some reason for my pain. With the DITI scan, my doctor, my family and I can see the cause of my pain and now I know I’m not going crazy!” says Newscastle DITI patient.

“We believe it is necessary to use all tools available to us to monitor our health, and thermography is an amazing tool,” says Olson.
