As a collegiate athlete early in life and entrepreneur now, Josh Fandrich, owner of OsteoStrong, has always been passionate about health and wellness, looking for technology that gives elite athletes the edge over their competitors. After learning how many health conditions are affected by bone health, Fandrich knew OsteoStrong was going to have a major impact on the health industry. “I seized the opportunity to bring such an amazing wellness brand to our community by purchasing the territory of Alabama as a Regional Developer. Shortly thereafter, I opened two locations: OsteoStrong Fairhope and OsteoStrong Midtown Mobile,” he says. “Since then, I have worked with our OsteoStrong corporate team, training other franchise owners and introducing our technology to professional and collegiate coaches and athletes around the U.S.”

OsteoStrong is not just for elite athletes. “Our biggest impact is on people with osteoporosis,” says Fandrich. One in two women over the age of 50 have fragility fractures due to osteoporosis and one in four men as well. According to the World Health Organization, 50 percent of individuals experiencing hip fractures over the age of 50 die within two years.
