The Sunflower Café offers flavorful and healthy dishes, with plenty of menu items that cater to customers with or without dietary restrictions. New owner, Kristen Little started working for previous owner, Lynnora Ash, as a nanny in 1990. Always interested in nutritional supplements, Little was a frequent customer at Virginia’s. One day, when the store was shorthanded, Ash called upon Little, and they have been working together ever since. Through many changes, including relocations, Little has enjoyed helping people shine and that is what has kept her at Virginia’s for so long.

“We have an amazing group of people here. It is very enjoyable to work with such awesome individuals every day,” says Little.

Little feels it is important to keep everything in the store familiar, without too many changes at first. She wants staff and customers to be comfortable. “I am very proud that we are still able to serve the community after 40 plus years,” says Little.
