Lauren Lee finds her flow through music, movement and producing community gatherings. As a life-long poet, songwriter and musician, she finds creative expression through her band, la’ra’le. She is also the co-founder of Gulf Coast Ecstatic Dance.

With the intention of fostering a conscious community that supports healing and awakening, Gulf Coast Ecstatic Dance produces the “Music, Movement and Meditation” event series in collaboration with Tiffany Kidder, owner of The Sanctuary Wellness Studio and DJ Ananda Bliss. Lee facilitates the three-hour gathering, often on the beach at sunset. Attendees enjoy a guided somatic warmup, a sacred cacao ceremony, a profound dance journey and community connection around a bonfire. Prior participants say that this healing event is sure to uplift and inspire. The next gathering is happening on the evening of May 19 in Ocean Springs.

Lee is also collaborating with Olivia Heusser of Wholesome Breath and Wellness on a new event series developed for children of all ages, called “Soul Family Wellness.” This special workshop aims to encourage mindful behavior and offer an accepting environment to make meaningful community connections. Kids will have fun playing with breath and movement while making new friends. The inaugural event is taking place on the morning of May 11 in Gulfport.
