After 20 years in corporate healthcare and 30 years as a home juicer, Lorie Ward launched Fairhope Juice in 2019 to share the healing powers of fruits and vegetables via small-batch, raw, cold-pressed, organic juices. "I am blessed beyond measure for your years of love and support!" gushes Ward when asked about her business' five-year anniversary last month. "My business continues to evolve, yet remain the sweetest little juice shop in Alabama," she adds.

Ward is passionate about the juicing lifestyle and committed to making her raw juices using strictly organic produce, keeping the chemical pesticides that are sprayed on non-organic produce completely out of the process. "If we can’t find organic produce, we won’t use it to make our juice," affirms Ward. "Our motto is 'Quality Over Compromise'."

The planet’s health is also an integral part of Fairhope Juice’s mission. As a reuse movement advocate, Ward avoids single-use plastic throughout her business, bottling her juices in glass jars that can be repurposed or returned for reuse. Avoiding plastic bottles also protects the nutrient dense integrity of her juices by preventing exposure to the harmful chemicals that are found in plastic.
