Fairhope's Spring/Summer Farmers Market

Join us for Fairhope's Spring/Summer Farmers Market, starting April 3rd! The market will be held every Thursday afternoon from 3 PM to 6 PM behind the Fairhope Public Library. Discover a wide array of fresh produce, homemade breads, honey, locally raised beef, and much more!

There will also be children's activities each week, along with exciting giveaways! Shopping at the Fairhope Farmers Market is not just a great way to enjoy fresh, locally grown produce; it also plays a crucial role in supporting local farmers and the community as a whole.

By purchasing directly from farmers, consumers help sustain local agriculture, ensuring that small-scale farmers can thrive in an industry often dominated by large corporations. This direct relationship fosters transparency and trust, as shoppers can learn about the origins of their food and the farming practices used.

Additionally, farmers markets often feature seasonal produce, promoting biodiversity and reducing the carbon footprint associated with transporting goods over long distances. Supporting the Fairhope Farmers Market not only enriches the local economy but also encourages healthier eating habits and a stronger connection to the community and the land.

Held behind the Fairhope Public Library. Street parking is available on a first come first serve basis. Parking on North Bancroft Street, Fairhope Avenue, Equality Street, or Magnolia Avenue are the most convenient spots if walking to the farmer’s market. A public parking lot is available on North Bancroft Street adjacent to the Fairhope Museum of History behind Julwin’s restaurant. The parking lot is free to the public and available on a first come first serve basis.
