Fairhope Retreat Center Creates Zen Habitat

Jubilee Suites’ owners Jim and Dana Maloney have been working with Rebecca Bryant of WATERSHED to turn their 3 acres of beachfront property into a zen habitat for migrating butterflies, birds and their guests. This boutique hotel and intimate event center overlooking Mobile Bay in Fairhope offers a one-of-a-kind experience for a wellness retreat or a family getaway.
Recent updates include a bird and butterfly sanctuary along one side of the property with beautiful native trees; the leveling and resodding of the backyard bluff; the installation of flower beds; and straw bale garden for vegetables, herbs and edible flowers. A soft path circling the building has also been added to make the property more accessible.
“We have made a point to make every experience here memorable,” says Dana. “We want you to remember the special moments that are enhanced by our unique offerings, including our recently updated landscaping that boosts our already picturesque panoramic views of Mobile Bay.” The 200-foot shoreline allows guests to swim, fish and paddle while the one- and two-bedroom suites feature a private balcony and luxurious furnishings.
Jubilee Suites normally welcomes families, couples, groups and business travelers for vacations, corporate retreats, family reunions, romantic getaways, small weddings, local meetings and yoga retreats. Aside from their long-term guests, the Maloneys have been rescheduling the events and vacations that had been planned during this time of social distancing.
