Local Activist Releases Compassionate Documentary

Tracey Glover, a vegan chef and founder of the Mobile-based nonprofit ARC (Awakening Respect and Compassion for All Sentient Beings), has released her new documentary Until All Are Free. The 34-minute film uncovers the far-reaching impacts of animal agriculture and the interconnection of all living beings and the planet.
Glover was inspired to make the film after recognizing the significant impact that documentaries have had on her own life as an activist. Featuring interviews with some of the most effective activists and academics of modern times, Until All Are Free takes a unique look at animal rights that goes beyond advocating for animals.
“The film looks at how we as humans distinguish ourselves from others who are different from us in certain ways—we create hierarchies where we say some beings are superior to others and then we exploit the powerless. We do this with the animals, and we also do it with other human beings,” Glover says. “The film looks at animal agriculture as an industry that exploits all living beings, from the animals to the workers, as well as the environment. And it looks at how interconnected all these issues, and all of us, are.”
